Securing space:To secure trip space, an initial deposit of $600 per person is required. You can make this payment by credit card (Visa or Master Card) or by personable check payable to Earth River Expeditions and sent to Earth River, 180 Towpath Road, Accord, New York, 12404.
If you are paying by credit card you will need to either put your credit card information on your reservation form and send it in or call the Earth River office with the information. This "hidden" link section of the site you are now on, includes all the general information you need for the trip including a gear and clothing list, inner country flight information and other general trip information. In this hidden link section you will also find a registration form, medical form, terms and responsibility release and liability release. These forms and releases must be filled out, signed and sent back to the Earth RIver office by regular mail (please do not e-mail or fax them as we need the originals.) We need these forms back as soon as possible to process your reservation (180 Towpath Road, Accord, New York 12404). 90 days prior to the trip’s departure your card will automatically be charged 50% of the remaining balance. The remainder of the balance will be charged to your card 50 days prior to the trip's departure. If for some reason your card does not go through at any of these junctures you will be alerted by e-mail and you will need to go to the web site and put the new card information in manually.
If you are paying by personal check, the deposit, registration form, medical form and releases should be signed and filled out and send by regular by mail back to our office (180 Towpath Road, Accord, New York 12404) Once we receive the forms and deposit, you will be sent out an e-mail confirmation with instructions to a hidden area on our web site for people who have signed up for the trip. This link will include all the general information you need for the trip including a gear and clothing list, inner country flight information and other general trip information. Please return all the forms to the Eath River office. 50% of the remaining balance must be sent into the Earth River office 90 days prior to the trip's departure. The remaining balance must be sent into the Earth River office within 50 days of the trip's departure.
Cancellation insurance: Your wilderness, multi-camp expedition has been limited to 16 guests to give the trip a more intimate feeling and to shorten the waiting times for the multi-sport activities like climbing and rappelling. Often trips fill up and it is difficult to replace a late cancellation. Therefore we urge you to purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case you are unable to join the expedition.
