Emerging from the spectacular Talkeetna
Glacier in the shadow of Denali, North America's grandest mountain, the powerful Talkeetna
rushes through a vast wilderness sanctuary that is home to eagles, wolves, mountain goats,
Dall sheep, black bears, wolverines, lynx, moose, grizzly bears and four species of
salmon. Using paddleboats we will challenge miles of nearly continuous Class 4 rapids in a
formidable 14 mile long canyon. This expedition also includes a trip to Denali National
Park. |
