To reserve space, send a completed reservation form with a deposit of $400 per person to Earth River Expeditions. Telephone reservations are acceptable but the deposit and completed reservation form must be received within two weeks or the space will be released. The balance of payment will be due 60 days before the expedition departs. We accept credit cards for payment. Trip prices cover all operations charges, meals, accommodations and transportation within the specific country and are based on current tariffs and currency exchange rates. Trip prices are subject to change due to fluctuations of these factors. Trip prices do not include international air travel, insurance, passports, visas, service charges for obtaining visas, equipment, medical costs and any other personal item. Neither are end-of-tour gratuities to the guides included.

Pre-Trip Information:

Upon registration you will receive a recommended reading list and an information bulletin detailing health recommendations, visa requirements, climate advisory, clothing suggestions and other travel tips.

Responsibility:

Earth River Expeditions and cooperating agencies act only in the capacity of agent for all matters relating to transportation and/or all other related travel services and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss or damage, to person or property in connection with any service, including but not limited to that resulting directly or indirectly from natural disaster, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, act of God, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulation, discrepancies or change in transit over which Earth River Expeditions has no control. We reserve the right to alter the itinerary. Trip arrangements are made more than a year in advance, and unforeseen conditions that mandate changes may arise. We are also continually seeking ways to improve our tours and from time to time make changes that will provide participants with an even more enjoyable and rewarding experience. We reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, due to water levels, political climate, insufficient registration, sickness or other circumstances beyond our control. In such a case, full refund of any Moneys received by Earth River Expeditions will constitute full settlement.

Cancellations and Refunds:

All cancellations must be in writing and received within the times specified below. If written notice of cancellation is received in our office more than 120 days prior to departure, the fee per person per trip is $100; 120-70 days, $250 ; 69-31 days, 50% of trip cost; 30 days 100% of trip cost. No refund will be made for anyone who does not show up for the trip. No refunds will be made for any unused portion of the tour unless arrangements are made prior to full payment.

Insurance:

We strongly recommend that you protect yourself and your baggage with a short term traveler's insurance policy available through our travel agent. Baggage is carried entirely at owner's risk. Earth River assumes no liability whatsoever for damage, loss or delay of property.Trip cancellation insurance will cover your losses on nonrefundable air and land costs on trips canceled due to illness.

Single Passengers:

For people traveling alone, single rooms are available except in remote areas. A single room supplement will be charged unless the person traveling alone requests to share a room. If a single traveler is willing to share a room and a roommate is not available, the single room supplement will not be charged.
